Every Special Blend concert is captured straight from our stage board as discrete 24-bit / 48 kHz multi-track Broadcast Wave stems and mixed on our custom Special Blend Sunset Edition Studio-12 Workstation, built with Thunderbear Studios™ and Resonant® AI engineering tools.
Our custom browser-based 64-bit mixing and mastering console pairs hands-on per-track analog-style channel strips, 3-role vocal stage seating (Center Lead, Wide Harmony, Vocal Bass Pocket), and a real-time background render queue that publishes mastered tracks straight to specialblendlive.com.
Across our 8-piece band, seven individual vocal mics (Brian, Rob, Mayo, Dave, Dan, Paul, and dual-ADC SNR-merged Mike), Mike's direct bass channel, and our un-split acoustic instrument bus (with Jon's acoustic drums captured naturally in the room array) are phase-aligned and level-calibrated with zero destructive gating or vocal dropouts.
Each song preserves its own custom vocal lead/harmony assignments, 3-band sweepable EQ, optical/FET compression, intimate club convolution reverb, and Paul Frindle-style harmonic inflator, queued and deployed track-by-track to Cloudflare Pages.
